Job Details Description JOB SUMMARY Under the direction of the Camp Manager, this position is responsible for performing a variety of administrative and clerical duties at the assigned job site.
Duties may include, but are not limited to front desk coverage, billeting, and managing the commissary.
The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below, but DUS may identify other responsibilities of the position.
These responsibilities may differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or GED Two years progressive office/clerical experience Proficient in Microsoft Office Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong customer service skills Maintain highly professional and respectful relationships with residents, co-workers, vendor representatives, supervisors, internal customers, and client representatives.
Ability to maintain a positive and courteous attitude at all times.
As a condition of employment, must be able to successfully pass the company’s pre-employment process including a criminal background check, driving record, drug test, and a post-offer physical.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Prior experience working in a remote location such as the North Slope of Alaska Previous billeting experience Previous sales experience including accounting and cash handling ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Provide administrative and clerical support at the assigned job site.
Duties may include: overseeing the front desk area and greeting guests (if applicable), billeting, answering phones and emails, running the Commissary, data entry, filing, and other.
Display excellent customer service skills at all times.
Must be courteous to all customers, both internally & externally).
Answer resident/visitor, employee, and DUS administration questions.
Ensure Commissary is neat and clean at all times.
Place weekly commissary orders.
Operate commissary daily during set hours.
Prepare commissary cash count (if applicable) and monthly orders.
Conduct commissary inventory on a monthly basis.
Maintain administrative and personnel files.
Prepare daily reports for client.
Day to day billeting functions including daily, weekly, and monthly resident reports for housekeepers.
Develop forms and presentation documents as needed.
May be responsible for travel planning, such as making charter reservations for jobsite as directed by supervisor.
Proofread and edit reports and documents.
Prepare weekly invoice/billing package for jobsite.
Represent the company in a positive, courteous and professional manner Expected to meet regular attendance goals of the company, relate well with other employees and managers, and perform according to company expectations.
Ability to work in a constant state of alertness in a safe manner Willingness to perform other duties as required.
Willingness to work at various locations as required.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT The employee will be required to live and work in a remote and confined workspace for extended periods of time and exposure to work assignments consisting of 12-hour days and able to work day or night shifts as required.
The majority of the work is performed in a remote setting with a wide variety of people in differing functions, personalities and abilities.
There may be a lack of immediate access to critical medical services as well as urban community services.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS The employee’s work requires routine walking, sitting, standing, bending and carrying items.
Candidate will be required to successfully complete a post-offer pre-hire physical and Functional Capacity Exam (if applicable).
